Don Jackson RB

I just picked him up off waivers, but don't really know anything about him. Does anyone have any thoughts on him, can he be a decent FF RB, until Lacy returns?

Grabbed him too but have no expectations. Admittedly it is in hopes he shows something tonight and I can do a quick flip for anything...5th rounder included. I think for most this will be their first time seeing him. Not sure he has much of a future though.

I did some light research on him before picking him up off waivers. Says he ran a 4.47 40 yard dash at his pro-day but only has a career 4.5 YPC in the mountain west so it's hard to believe the 4.47 40. Sounds like he didn't really start playing football until in high school and hes a troubled past. Still learning the position. I'd rather take a flier on him than Knile Davis because we already know what Knile can do.

Got outbid for Davis, so grabbed Jackson for free. Having a ton of injuries at RB so options were limited. Hopefully the unknown of Jackson is better than the known of Davis.

I figured I would be outbid for davis so put in for jackson for a dollar too and came away with both. he has an interesting story, definitely makes you want to root for him. found one highlight video on youtube from nevada vs cal davis and one from high school, definitely has a bit of burst and is not afraid of contact which is what the few scouting notes I found on him said, how that will translate to the big leagues and if he can hold up is anyone's guess. I'm intrigued to see him tonight.

Kind of annoyed as I would have had him for $1 yesterday; but now I have to wait until next Wednesday cause of TNF. It will inevitably require a higher bid.

Last year Don averaged 4.7 YPC on 228 attempts while the other runningback that he split carries with averaged 6.5 YPC on 208 attempts.

Yep sometime in the past hour or so they removed the middle name and now he's just plain old Don Jackson
