What I've learned is that he is QB proof, and Osweiler is not a QB. This thread is a good reminder that player values are often volatile and what looks obvious today may in fact be completely wrong tomorrow.
This is a good point. I think people get too caught up in the highs and lows. Players will always alternate between good and "bad" years. Someone will be a buy low one year and a buy high the next. Just get the players that set the bar high the most.

I think everyone should learn a valuable lesson here......Oswheelie is quite possibly the worst QB to ever play for the Texans/the NFL.

I love Nuk

I own Nuk in two leagues.

Both those leagues I am now the new Champion in.

No coincidence on the second and third points.

Welp, we've learned that if he leads the league in targets he's a good WR to have.

Can't wait to see Watson returning in 2018

Can't imagine what could be Nuk stats. Sky is the limit for both.

C'Mon, you can say the same thing about AB, Julio, Calvin, or DT when he was top 3. AB had 163 targets last year through 16 weeks, Hopkins has 174 this year through 16 weeks. Hopkins also has the best hands in the league, only OBJ is remotely close.

Edit: Oddly, AB also had 163 targets through 15 games this year as he sat our week 16.

Even if he doesn't lead the league in targets he's still a "good" wr to own? He's more talented than mike evans, who many have as a top three to five asset.

Lol, maybe there's a reason he gets a lot of targets

I feel like the overall "learning" of this necro'd thread may be lost in this post somehow.

If we use Deandre logic here, shouldn't we also not hate on Mike Evans? Bad years happen.

Yes and no. I think what we learned was that Nuk's bad year had more to do with Brock than anything else. Not really sure what Evans' excuse is. It's possible he bounces back, probably even likely...but not the same as Hopkins.
