That describes Stewart as much as Lewis and Lewis is 4 years younger. I smell recency bias.

Agree JStew isn't the picture of health, but he wasn't all but out of the league for two seasons due to injury.

As for white, he'll have value but you'll probably never feel great starting him on a week to week basis. Lewis is a special athlete, White is a jag with a good opportunity.
Half the battle in fantasy is opportunity, sir.
Agree completely, that's why i wasnt arguing he'll have value, just may have more weekly volitality than Lewis. White just doesnt have the talent upside of Lewis, who was a total game changer in that offense

Agree completely, his upside is just capped due to talent limitations. Lewis was a game changer in that offense
Long term, sure it's capped. He averaged 14.7 PPR PPG from week 11 on last year. Max points 27.9 in week 13. I'm not sneezing at that.

This situation really came at a bad time for me. I had to trim my roster to 16 by Noon EST yesterday and cut James White because I needed other players more... and the news dropped like 49 minutes later. This just shows that you need to make the best decision possible with the information you have and not sweat what follows too much, if that is possible.

If it's the team in your sig...you cut Winston over Fitzpatrick?

Assuming you meant White not Winston, yes I did.

It's an interesting league which was part of the reasoning. The defending champion cannot trade the following year as he is pursuing a "Double Cup" pot which is significant. We have owners in need of QB's and if I dropped Fitz and got into injury trouble at the QB spot I could be in a major pinch. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I would have kept White as I am kicking myself now... I only have a 1.8 pick then a pick at 4.1, etc. and am considering taking him at 1.8... Tough spot as I have my fingers crossed I can make it until Dion comes back with Abdullah/Crowell/Woodhead for my RB2 (along with my 1.8).

Input on White's value in a rookie/FA draft if you're rostering Dion Lewis?

Sorry not enough coffee today...I read Jameis Winston instead of James White for some reason. That said, I still would've dropped Fitzpatrick over White. It's weird that the champion can't trade because it really handicaps that team...I would not draft James White at 1.08 though. Mid 2nd sounds about right, maaaybe early 2nd if you really hate everyone else there.

Don't take White that high. Look at what he did and when he did it. No Lewis, no Edelman, only one TE. This year is a different story.
