Dynasty draft on MFL?

When I am setting up our league's rookie draft do we have to set all of our current rostered players as "keepers" or do I just leave it as is?


It says "Hint: All players not selected below will be dropped from their respective rosters. Be 100% certain that this is what you want to happen before proceeding.

Is this only for leagues where the keepers count as a designated draft pick or something?

I'm pretty sure you designate your entire roster as keepers. I.E. 25 player rosters, select 25 as your keeper amount.

You have to set them all as keepers. Fleaflicker is set up the same way.

Is this the first season for the league? It must be because MFL does NOT require players to be designated as keepers. As a commissioner, you simply import rosters & draft picks from the previous year.

You don't need to do anything with the keeper settings and options, that's only used for actual keeper leagues that must cut down. So if you do a cut down then you could use it. For example my local keeper league we keep 5 (of 28) and in another local keeper we keep 12 of 35. So we use the keeper setting for this number. But in a normal dynasty where you can keep everyone, there are no "keepers" in that way.

Yup, that's basically what I did but I learned it wasn't really necessary, better safe than sorry!

Ok, I thought so but wasn't really sure and didn't ant to mess anything up. I just selected all players as "keepers" for each team and it basically did nothing, we manually did cuts down to 20 players so there really wasn't a need to set them all as keepers I guess.


I figured it out, thanks for the help everyone. I'll post our draft results as we move along (1.07 now)
