I will not be surprised if Marshall puts up WR1 numbers with Geno Smith as the starter. He's been consistent his entire career regardless of the QB. Marshall is ridiculously skilled and very good at taking care of his body. At this rate, he'll still be putting up elite numbers up to his mid 30's. If you can't get value for him, then ride him into the sunset and compete for championships.

This year will be interesting for him. Statistically speaking, this is the year he should fall off... after 32 years of age.

If he does well, the value of the 28 yo receivers should hold our even climb a little for a little longer.

I recently was able to package Marshall and Perriman for Kelvin and Edelman.

Just traded Fuller and a 2nd for Marshall on a contending team. Very happy with it!

If you are playing with experienced owners. Brandon Marshall holds the highest trade value right now.

His production is stellar, and he has probably 2 years left of WR1 production. Everyone knows this, but no one wants to pay top dollar for a 32 WR. So if you can ship him to a contender for younger players, then both sides will be happy. one gets youth and something in return for Marshall; the other gets some top notch production for the next 2 years.

That being said, its a tough trade market for Marshall right now. His trade value just doesn't seem to compare to his production. It never has, for some reason people don't buy the Marshall hype. I had him in every league I play (Partly because i'm a bears fan) but if I can get value for him I'll ship him, otherwise i'm content to ride him into retirement.

WR - Sanders, Woods, Funchess, Jo Brown, Hogan, Ph. Cooper, Heyward-Bey, Wright, Marquess Wilson, Hunter, Goodwin, Fuller
TE - Gronkowski, Ebron, Chandler, Boyle

I have him and no one in my league is placing the value on him that I think he's worth. Depending on how his and my seasons start I'll either be flipping him to a contender for draft picks and a young RB or riding him into a potential championship. I'm very content with having him retire on my team with the way he's been producing lately.

It's a catch 22 with Marshall. Good enough to be a big contributor for you, old enough to be a high risk trade.

I've tried off and on to trade both Fitz and Marshall the last few years, and that's the story. Nobody wants to give much or anything for old WRs, even if they're awesome.

So I've pretty much decided to hold them since I'm a playoff and not a rebuilding team - rather than settle for close to nothing for them.

If I were rebuilding, I'd more willing to get anything for them. Glad I'm not!

Personally, I'd be wary, because he has already said when the Jets are done with him, he's hanging them up. No way he repeats last years numbers, but if you can get him cheap, as a contender, why not.
