nope i offered a 1 and 3 and he never countered or initiated any talks. he then traded the pick to Connecticut who traded it to me after a ton of negotiating... By negotiating i mean me just adding more picks until he said yes.

Yeah I never got that offer. I'm not one to start low with picks OTC, so I feel like it was just not worth countering.

I was stuck between Dixon and Fuller at 1.06 and thought Fuller could slide to 1.09. I don't really like Fleener, but I gambled that 1 of my guys would be there. If not, I would probably trade out completely for a future 1st plus.

Dixon fell and I had a long talk fall through. The owner took over an hour to decide and just didn't like it so I took Dixon. So for me, Dixon + Fleener is worth picks 1-5, anything after round 3 is really just dart throws in this 14 team league. Fleener could probably fetch a future 2nd and 3rd now but he has the potential to be worth a lot more.

All in all, I got Fleener for free because I picked up the guy I would have taken earlier. Hopefully Dixon turns out to be a decent RB2 and AP can hold me over until next year. I have 3 1st's so I'll likely add a RB or two to go along with Keenan/White/Hilton/Coleman at WR.

Fuller's hands scare me. he's on my stay away list. Smells like the second coming of Darrius Heyward-Bey. That's why i like Carroo so much, best hands in the draft.

Agreed. Knew someone would take him in this area of the draft but I'm not a Fuller fan at all. Like him in best ball, though.

i think we're at the point in the draft where I'd take a 17 1st straight up for any of these picks. Who drafts the lottery ticket RB that gets drafted by Dallas?

I would have taken a 17 1st for 1.11, nevermind 2.01. ended up with prosise and Williams. gambles for sure. this whole class is a gamble outside the first few picks. to add on being before the draft, who the heck knows

Big drop off after the first 5 picks and then again after first 12 picks. After the first 12, I think we'll see differences in everyones rookie draft

It may have been a little high for the guy who took him, but I'd say this is a very realistic spot for him to go in rookie drafts. Surprised you hadn't heard of him, another fairly freaky Clemson WR who was held back by injury mostly.

Thank you for the reply. My last pick is 2.12 (Pick 24), in a 12 team PPR with veterans. I have been doing some research at the top, but really have never heard of Charone Peake. We do have some good veterans that could get drafted in Smelter, Coates, Kap, D. Allen, D. Williams. This may have helped limit my amount of research since its not deep benches at all (20 total with defense and kicker).

When I googled him i saw that he is a freak athlete. I am not an expert and am only going on the one source i found, but it showed he is a senior so a little old and also dealt with multiple knee surgeries. This could scare me off completely with our short benches and his stats weren't that impressive, I know he was inured a lot.

I have to admit I was surprised at Boyd's fall. (I am the Battle WIngs) I was trying to trade up for him but didn't want to give up too much either. I like him and think he can be in the same vein as a Kennan Allen. (Good route runner that can separate despite not having elite athleticism) He could be a solid WR2 some day. I couldn't get a trade done. Now I wait till my 3rd round pick. I got Diggs here last year and flipped him for Cooks. So here is too hoping for another land like that.

Yeah early for him now. By summer he will be a mid 2nd I think. I would rather take him early and have him than miss out so I totally get that.
More surprising is Boyd at 12 for me...seems awful late
