I foresee vet minimum to the Jets, reunite with Chan Gailey. Fantasy relevant, maybe if there's an injury.

Gore obviously needs a better backup than what Indy has now, and although Spiller's light is fading fast, he would still probably be better than the other scrubs on that depth-chart.

But what Spiller really needs are spread concepts. That's what Chan Gailey gave him in Buffalo. I believe now that's the only kind of offense he can do well in.

I'm not sure why a team would pick up Spiller over Hillman at this point...

Hillman's irrelevant, because we already know teams have passed on him. Spiller's gonna clear waivers so that his contract resets, and then we'll see about him.

The Patriots will kick his tyres, because they are always having free agent visits to ensure their 'next man up' list is up to date. Depending why CJ isn't worthy of a Saints roster spot he may stick. The Pats are definitely an RB light (with Bolden taking some snaps week 1 with DJ foster inactive). I think there is a chance he might get a shot, especially if they are not that bullish on the health of Dion.

There's been minimal buzz about Sankey on the practice squad ..... But that is probably due to the limited amount they are allowed to do in season these days.

Bolden is rostered for special teams contributions. Spiller would have to unseat Foster or White to gain a roster spot. Not impossible, but would seem a bit of a reach for a team known to have an extremely complicated offense this far into the season. Especially with the potential for Lewis to return and Sankey already on the practice squad. I agree that the Jets make a likely landing spot. He knows the offense and they effectively have no one behind Forte and Powell.
