I think his fantasy value will jump noticeably once Peterson is gone.

Maybe. Maybe not. Actually AP is the main piece in the offense, yeah, but AP ist also the main piece for the opposite defense. So, when AP is gone, defenses wont focus any longer against the run only. They will defend more balanced.

As much as ap helps, he also hurts the offense. As, he is basically a "tell". Due to his utter disdain for pass blocking, and in ability to run from the gun.

Of course, the play caller could get crazy, and maybe try pa passes on 1st down.

The passing offense ran more smoothly in '14 without Peterson. Now that he's back Norv wants to feature him, and for good reason. Once he's gone again I fully expect them to focus more on short to intermediate passing, which Teddy is best at.

Im not sure, if its so smart. I think the smart play is to break tendencies.
Come out next week and throw 15 times straight (w pa passes mixed in) to start the game. I see that as a huge advantage.

What they are doing now, is so predictable.

I should also say, as a huge vikings fan i think AP, is one if the most overrated players i have ever seen.

Fumbles (nfc championship game?)
Shitty could care less pass protection
Below average catching the ball.

Send him back to 1978.

I'd say the masses support Teddy Bridgewater after how much the media force fed that to them the past 2 years. I'd say those of us realizing that Teddy is a game manager who struggles with the deep ball and has a capped ceiling because of that are of the minority.

Nice find. There's even more interesting stats if you dig into the comments:
off PFR. pretty handy tool.
Here’s the run/pass breakdown for the three offenses as well:
MN: 226 run/132 pass: 63%/37%
Oak: 151/213: 41%/59%
Jax: 151/228: 40%/60%

MN runs on 1st down more than any team in the league (2nd is STL, 3rd is Tampa, 4th Car, 5th Chi).
Jax passes on 1st down more than any team in the league (oak is 6th).
Here’s a fun stat (playing with numbers is fun). MN averages 4.95 yards on first down, which would rank 28th. guess what team is 32nd … yep … GB.
Pass/run ratio inside the opponent 10-yard line
Jaguars: 39 passes (17 TDs), 22 runs (2 TDs)
Vikings: 16 passes (5 TDs), 24 runs (7 TDs)
Raiders: 14 passes (7 TDs), 22 runs (5 TDs)
I do still stand by comments I made in an earlier post on how Norv and AP are huge problems with regards to playcalling adjustments and predictability. They always run it on first down when AP is in the game, and the run/pass ratio is super-skewed run over the pass.

Anyone who thinks Bridgewater is only a game manager is completely unfamiliar with Norv Turner's offense which has been around literally for decades.

My belief that Bridgewater is a game manager doesn't have to do with Norv Turner. It has to do with Bridgewater's arm strength and struggle with the deep ball. First, he struggled with the deep ball at Louisville, but his draft stock remained high.
Then, his draft stock dropped because he struggled with the deep ball at his pro day.
Now, he has struggled with the deep ball in Minnesota. Where there is smoke there is fire.

I'm not saying Teddy is a bad QB. There is a place in the NFL for efficient game managers. I just think that a QB that struggles that much with the deep ball has a capped ceiling in the fantasy football world.

Aikman had a big arm. Teddy does not. Aikman was not a QB with questionable arm strength that struggles throwing the ball downfield.

Having a big arm, is not what difines a qb as a game manager.

Montana, weak arm, entire offense built around him.
Aikman big arm, game manager, entire offense built around Smith.
Trent dilfer big arm, game manager, entire offense built around run game/field position.

I get what you are trying to say, but equating game manager QBs, to their arm strength is silly.
