I generally don't trade much before the combine and pro-days. I like to get an approximate list and feel for what is happening with rooks before dealing. Exceptions to any "rule" I create for myself as always but in general

I don't think that's "paying up" for Zeke at all tbh. Looks like a pretty even deal to me.

I don't think that's "paying up" for Zeke at all tbh. Looks like a pretty even deal to me.

And I believe most people try to buy at a discount rather than fair / equal value. In the end it all depends on where you value the players as to how you perceive the deal. Some could say I'll take the Zeke side, some will say even, & some will say the Davis/Guice/Engram side.

Yeah, fun trade for sure. There have been some pretty big deals in the league over the years. Knotts has been at the center of many, acquiring AB, Julio, and Bell over the years. I was the owner who sent him AB for Dez, Maclin, and his first in the first year of the league, I thought it was shrewd trading for Dez while he was recovering from injury, but he never bounced back and it was ultimately a terrible deal for me. This deal could end up just like that one pretty easily, time will tell.
