Fred Jackson released by Bills
Fred Jackson released by Bills
Kind of surprising, IMO. So besides the fact that this likely indicates they're comfortable with Shady's health status, who gets the biggest fantasy boost in the Buffalo RB pecking order? Anyone worth a longer look now?
Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
Figured Bryce Brown would be the guy to go. Karlos Williams the clear handcuff now?
Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
Honestly didn't think he would go over Brown.
I'm sure FJax goes somewhere with a muddy RB situation and makes it even muddier.
For the Bills RBs, I don't think this changes much.

Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
Fred Jackson was a free agent in one of my leagues, so I scooped him up just in case he landed somewhere halfway decent.

Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
Very surprised. Dude has been the heart and the soul of the Bills for so long.
If the curse of the Bills is still in effect, he'll join a team that will knock the Bills out of playoff contention on the back of a 2-TD Freddy performance.

Since Jerryworld was built on top of his childhood home, the Cowboys make the most sense.

that's kind of crazy, yeah he's old but he's still decent and reliable.
Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
Belichick absolutely loves Fred Jackson. That would be my bet.

Fred's 34 yrs old. My money is on Boobie Dixon. Too bad, I own Bryce Brown. Was hoping he'd get a chance somewhere else. I'm not excited about Shady's chances for success this year. Fred will need to take a pay cut if he wants to play for BB.

Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
Well in any event it was nice of Rex to cut him in first cuts so he has a better chance of being picked up by someone, rather than a last minute cut next week
Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
I like him in ATL. He'd be a really nice fit there for a team who has a bunch of "meh" talent in the backfield IMO. He could really put up some numbers in ATL.
I agree that NE is probably his most likely landing spot. Just feels right.

Re: Fred Jackson released by Bills
I could see the Browns taking a shot at him (Mike Pettine being the former defensive coordinator of the Bills).
