You're bound to get lucky sometimes
I made them about three weeks after the season ended, I think. I wish I had marked the date though. I'm pretty sure people can vouch that I put them up before any of them happened.
My in-season predictions were a little less... intelligent, for what it's worth. I picked a TRich bounce back.

This looks pretty legit of the 3. I picked Hill, though, because they both were referenced to make bad drops.Darkness wrote:Torrey Smith 2.0
I am honestly avoiding players like Perriman from now on. I just don't think the NFL has the patience to allow someone to "figure it out" for very long. Not only does he drop passes, but his scouting report says he is very raw with his routes and he doesn't seem to try to sell the routes when he isn't involved in the play. I could see coaches getting frustrated and moving on. There are too many "NFL Ready" WRs these days, and I think that is why we see "studs" like Hill and Hunter fop.
Just an opinion, though. I am probably wrong....

Re: Breshad Perriman Poll
I voted KB 2.0, I am definitely higher on him then most and have my concerns with his hands, but Ozzy Newsome is as good of a GM as anybody in the league so I take notice when he picks a guy with a premium pick. If he learns the intricacies he could be scary good, with a KB 2014 floor every season. If not he could be on the long list of WR busts.

Re: Breshad Perriman Poll
I'm guessing you're not very high on Perriman.
Benjamin - Solid rookie season flooded with targets. Maybe someone similar situation but it doesn't appear the Ravens are wanting to thrust Perriman into a large role like the Panthers did with Benjamin and isn't nearly as athletic.
Hunter - Very raw, low production in college and lean frame. Considered bust.
Torrey - Mostly deep threat who has been streaky and slightly disappointing in eyes of truthers. Limited ceiling.
Hill - Very raw from GT system. Couldn't run routes or catch the ball. Major Bust.
Based on physical attributes only Perriman is most similar Hill. Large, fast receiver who has history of struggling with drops. In skill-set from this group I guess he is similar to Torrey but with a much higher ceiling. Curious why he isn't compared to someone like Mike Evans or Michael Floyd? Both mockdraftable and playerprofiler have Kevin White as his most comparable player.

Re: Breshad Perriman Poll
Perriman is shaky at high pointing the ball and has issues with his hands, and for all the criticism I give Kevin White he's generally excellent at both those things. Mike Evans is significantly taller and slower than Perriman and I don't think their games are similar so that's not a great comp. The Michael Floyd comp is interesting.
Re: Breshad Perriman Poll
Better than all of them. So, I vote other.
