Only downside is the concussions (5).

Otherwise, he's a target monster on a depleted offense. Could be an interesting trade candidate before the deadline

Been thinking the same thing. Imagine if the Chiefs got him.

Feels like we're about due for it, either way. Cooks will not stop until he has played for all 32!

Team in sig is 0-2 so I feel your pain. We just gotta climb out of the hole.

Say what you want about the Hopkins trade, but the Texans gave up a worst 2nd for Cooks, and have him for cheaper.

He doesn't get nearly enough love.

I got him in the 10th round (116 overall) in the PPR Scott Fish Bowl League. I was astonished he lasted that long.

The only thing less valuable in dynasty than a 28 year old receiver is a 28 year old running back.

There's just so many receivers that can produce that it's hard to differentiate them, especially as they get older. Cooks is absolutely undervalued, but so are most receivers 27 and older not named Hopkins, Adams, Diggs, or Hill.

The injury concerns have faded away recently, but those also factored into his value for a while. There was a time when it looked like he may never be able to play again. Concussions are not something to mess with.

Looking forward to see how and if Reid uses CEH after last week. I think CEH was slowed a bit by his pre-season ankle injury, but the Chargers were gashed on the ground last week. Lots of people getting super panicky about Clyde, so this week will mean a lot for how a lot of people view him moving forward.

Well in a bid to extend my undefeated streak that started last year week 1 (team #2 in signature), I'm starting the following players this week: gainwell, Keenan, Sutton, Pitts. Over cook (assuming he's out, otherwise swap him back for gainwell), nuk, Godwin, and dk.

Suffice to say I'll be paying attention to those games a lot closer to see if I can pull this off. Really wish I had started DJM now on Thursday, but thought that cook and nuk were more likely than not to play and be effective

I don't understand this narrative. I'm a Chiefs fan and Red is very consistent in his usage of his lead back since I can remember. IThe starter is not normally a muddy situation and whoever is healthy can be relied upon to be a RB1 before the end of the season most years. Even Damian Williams. McCoy was reliable in PHL when not injured. Before that it was Westbrook. It's not always Henry or Zeke or Bell in his prime reliability but it's not like it wasn't clear cut who the guy to start was. It's still clear cut now, it's just that we especially remember bad run of JJ Watt stuffing him at the goal line, getting injured and playing a couple good teams. Now, why isn't he catching passes? That's frustrating. I've said it other places on the forum, if the Chiefs are smart they NEED to start taking the easy stuff, the dumps, the runs for 5 yards, etc. They are being reckless forcing the ball downfield with 2 deep safeties. Mahomes is the best QB I've ever seen play but there is a little ego check that needs to happen and then they can even more easily romp most teams.
