I just noticed this feature (Foe List) and decided to give it a whirl by putting one guy on it who i genuinely don't want to read. Does anyone else use this and if so is there any downside?

Works great for me. Only got one guy on there and I've been happy to not even notice him anymore..

How does it work? Does it just not show their posts in a given thread, wouldn't that just make threads more confusing?

Yah, it just doesn't show em. Theoretically, it would make threads more confusing. But if you use it selectively (like I have), you don't even notice it. Homey's comments are always just jabs at people rather than about the topic at hand. Because of that, I don't miss a thing..
