I Opened A Pinball Bar!

This is not my full time job, and it's only open two days per week for 4 hours per day. It's basically just a hobby but it's been something I've been working on since January 1st. It took up hours and days and weeks of my time, but it's well worth it. It's something mostly built for leagues and tournaments, but it's also just a place to come and hang out too.

If anyone is in or around South Burlington, Vermont, come check out THE PINBALL CO-OP!

That's me and my wife in the top picture. I did not post this many places. WOOOOOO EXCITING!

Congrats Mike, such an awesome (also expensive and time-consuming) hobby to be in! To keep with the forum's propensity for highly/hotly debated topics that go off the rails and turn into fights lol, I gotta know the standard pinhead first question in a new place: what are the rules on nudging/slapping/sliding? None allowed? Some allowed (nudging ok/sliding not)? Let the tilt sensor gods decide? Always a fun debate, especially if you're hosting tournaments.

I'm hoping with COVID restrictions loosening up I can start making my trips up to Hill Farmstead again, and will definitely try to stop in the see/play the set-up (regardless of your answers to the above question, I'm not good enough where nudging makes a difference lol. Definitely a SDTM kinda player). Any way to get an updated list of the active pins? I checked out the website but from the looks of your pictures the lineup's changed. And what's your personal favorite pin so far?

Best of luck, and keep that Hakko warm lol.

Thanks for sharing Mike, and best of luck with the place!

I really needed to come into off-topic for a bit. Frankly, the regular forums were starting to bum me out a little. Something cool like this is refreshing, and just what I needed today.

:D

that's so cool. i won so many beers with pinball (i don't think i'm particularly good, but my friends were shite!), especially on the "creature from the black lagoon" and "star trek next generation" (the one that goes "Q, we don't have time for your games!").
the chances of me ending up in vermont are slim, but if i do, that's one place i'll visit!

My family had a blast playing the "South Park" machine a couple years ago while on vacation at a local arcade. That one was pretty addicting. I was also a fan of the "Black Knight" machine from back in the early/mid 80s if anyone remembers that one. Probably two of my favorites.
