Logistically it's a lot easier for the NBA, but I agree with your premise. The NBA had a full-fledged, fully thought through plan. The NFL stuck their fingers in their ears and pretended they weren't going to have a problem.

Double check your bye week plans. For example,I was rooting for JKelley to tear it up tonight so I can confidently insert him week 6 vs. Jets to cover my AK41 bye week. However, I just noticed that game was rescheduled and LAC now have a bye next week.

Hmmm, maybe I’ll close my eyes, plug my nose and give Dobbins a go.

Also, no new positive tests this morning from Tennessee Titans per multiple sources...per Sleeper.

How does this work, does this mean no more Titans testing news until Tuesday morning now?

Don't think they do game day tests. Maybe for this one they do, but not sure.

They really should be doing game day tests, it astounds me that they're not... not as something actionable to stop the game, but so that they have that data on hand in the case of further breakout.

ESPECIALLY for this plague-bearer Titans team. It seems nuts to me.

 They can't be positive if they aren't tested.

Might be a timing issue of getting them all through the conveyer belt testing on gameday when they have so many other warmups/things to do? I don't like it either, but I think it's the NFL's way to avoid panic on gameday. Imagine having someone run onto the field mid game to walk a guy off that they finally got the positive test results back. It'd be almost as bad as the the NBA game that Gobert tested positive at and they had people walk off during warmups.

Good news, the Titans were "fairly compliant" this entire time, they just couldn't always be bothered with wearing masks.

I read that they are doing tests tomorrow morning but they won't get results until later in the day.

What I understood was that they conducted test today and that they will have the results tomorrow.

I think that's usually the way it works, which is why they don't test on game days.

Saints considering moving their home games to LSU so they can have fans in the stands because the city of New Orleans won't allow it.

NFL has announced today that anyone who has a close contact test positive (either in the team or outside of it) will be required to isolate for five days even if they test negative. This means anyone who has a close contact positive after Tuesday of a week will miss atleast one game.
