As anyone who has visited this thread regularly may be aware - I am going through the history and genres of Heavy Metal. We started with Proto-Metal and have worked our way all the way into Goth Metal. For Metal lovers out there - do not worry there is plenty more metal (and Metal genres) to come. However starting tomorrow, to celebrate my favorite music festival, I will share 1 song a day from the festival - that comes from a band/singer that performed the day before at Bluesfest. This is just a headsup as to why the sudden shift from Goth Metal into completely different music.

This is the song I refer to when I make the argument that Sebastian Bach had the best rock voice . Thanks for the posts
Yeah no argument that he was/is one of the best. Glad you enjoy!
great voice but the bloke is a prize bleep.
saw him at a festival about ten years ago, arrived late, couldn't be arsed to do anything but swinging his microphone, shouted in the face of a roadie that was fixing up his mess on the stage, in front of everyone. i hate that kind of crap and have no time for this arsehole.
so i'll just put up some other kind of monkey business:
risk - monkey business (1989, german thrash, their covers are great, take a look!)
just as a note, i saw voivod's excellent
nothingface posted a while back. great song (and album), but given the thrash context, i would have picked something from the first 4 albums. like this:
voivod - korgüll the exterminator (1986)

Yeah unfortunately that can happen. Just because a person has a great talent for something does not make them a nice person.
They do make some interesting choices with their list of bands/songs in this book. There are definitely songs I might have preferred over the stuff that is listed, but I am going by the book so ...
I certainly agree Korgull the exterminator would have been a good choice - thanks for sharing!
