Really, you could argue either side.
But I'll take Side A.
Given the names of the players involved, Jefferson, Mariota*, and the mid-2nd are throw-ins. So I'm discounting those for simplicity's sake.
Why Side A for me?
1) I'm a seller on Aaron Jones.
2) I LOVE Goedert. LOVE him (yes, more than Hock).
3) I'm presuming that Side A doesn't need Swift to be an RB2 right away. By 2021 (if not the end of 2020), he should be better than Jones.
4) Rodgers should be much better than Darnold this year, and I'm not sold on Darnold ever being a top-15 QB.
Of course, this is based on a lot of particular player evals where I differ from the consensus. Based on consensus feel for the players, I think that this is a great trade for Side B given where side B is and a good trade for Side A given where Side A wins. From the consensus viewpoint, it looks like a rare win-win.
*For Side B, I love Mariota's inclusion. He might get some starts this year and have an outside chance at reclaiming value, but I doubt. Nice additional piece for a fringe playoff team.
