Borrow value in SF, if Panthers breaks the bank

Postby ravn88 » Sun Jan 19, 2020 2:57 pm

So rumors going around that Panthers might be going after Joe Borrow.

The already got his OC from LSU, how much more would this increase his value?

An offense with; CMC, DJ Moore, Samuel ect.

Not happening, Cincinnati has zero interest (rightfully so) in reading the 1st overall pick.

WR: G. Wilson, B. Aiyuk, J. Waddle, T. Higgins,, Z. Flowers, Di. Johnson, K. Toney, A. Iosivas

It's not happening, and even if it did it wouldn't change his value at all for me, he's already really good no matter where he goes.

Edit: I am already willing to take him in a startup and bet on his upside over every QB in the league except:

Mahomes
Lamar
Watson
Wilson
Kyler
Wentz

I don't think I would prefer Burrow on the Panthers over the Bengals. I would say mostly neutral difference in landing spots.

I'm basically there except I might be convinced to take him over Kyler but I would add Allen to the list, I wouldn't trade Allen for the 1.01.

As an owner of Moore & Mixon ... this is like asking which of my two kids I love more ... this thread should be deleted immediately to protect my sanity.

I would. Allen isn't a very good QB. His rushing is great, but I won't value a sub par passer over a top prospect like Burrow. If his rushing drops at all, he's not a productive QB. It's really all that's keeping him afloat in FF.

I like Allen a lot, and he's probably top 10 for me in fantasy, but I would take Burrow over him without 2nd thought. The only guy I left off my list that I might waffle on taking over Burrow is Dak, but I've just never been a big believer in Dak, and think Burrow could be one of the best QBs in the league in a few years.

I don't think Burrow going to Carolina makes a difference. Sure, Joe Brady is there, but I don't think he's dependent on being in Brady's offense to be really good.

Ultimate, the Bengals have already committed to taking Burrow #1.

The only team I see being able to make a strong enough offer to sway the Bengals is Miami, and even then I don't think the 2 sides agree. Would Miami be willing to trade all 3 of their 1st rounders this year, plus their 1 next year? I doubt it, but I think that's about what it would recquire to get Cincy to move off that pick.

In what world would cincy demand 4 1sts for moving down 4 spots ? Thats unheard off
