Burrow 1.01?
Do u feel Burrows is the consensus number 1 in SF? With his lack of running upside, I know he can scramble, I really do not want to take this guy first. In saying that unless one of the stud rbs lands in a great situation taking borrow 1st is almost a no brainer

Re: Borrow 1.01?
For my SF team in Sig, we’ve had 3 rookie drafts now and the 1.01 has been a rb every year. So I could see it being Jeudy or your favourite RB even in Superflex
Jake Fromm State Farm (12 team PPR SF)
QB: Purdy, ARich (TS), Levis (TS), Bagent, Hall, Rudolph, Fromm
RB: Roschon (TS), Allgeier, Hill, Demercado, McLaughlin, Mitchell, K. Harris, E. Wilson
WR: Addison, London, Jmo, Shaheed, Reed (TS), Pop D, Iosivas, C. Jones, Mooney, T. Palmer, Scott, Tucker, Austin, Gipson, Melton,
TE: Musgrave, Mayer (TS), Trautman, Gray, Jordan
2024: 1.01, 1.07, 2.04, 2.10, 2.11, 3.01, 3.06, 3.07, 3.11
2025: 1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4

Re: Borrow 1.01?
I believe his last name is Burrows - at the moment it looks like you're asking to borrow the 1.01.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Re: Burrow 1.01?
He's the obvious 1.01 pick, barring Swift to KC or something amazing like that.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
I have the 1.02 in 3 SF leagues and fully expect to get no shares of Burrows come draft time because he won’t be there to pick
Re: Burrow 1.01?
Nope, it's BURROW...no "s". So many people call him Burrows, but that's not his name.
And yes, he should go 1.01 in all SF/2QB drafts.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
An extremely juicy landing spot for an RB could easily make them the 1.01.
Should Burrow walk into CIN with Mixon, Boyd, Ross? and maybe even AJ Green...ON THE SURFACE, if their OL can take some steps forward...then it could be a very good spot for Burrow.
I don't know anything but I feel like rookie drafts will go:
1.01-1.02 - Burrow
1.04-1.05 - Tua
1.06-1.08 - Herbert
Don't think it's out of the question to see Herbert go ahead of Tua should he go to a team with good weapons, Chargers?, while Tua goes to Miami + his injury stuff. Then you factor in, do guys like Fromm (undeclared) or Eason (declared) go early Day 2.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
In superflex
Burrow - I think is a near lock as 1.01
Tua - I think goes 1.02 (possibly 1.03-1.04 if there are nice landing spots for Taylor, Swift, Dobbins, Etienne)
Herbert - 1.07-1.12 probably depends largely on landing spot for him.

I'm too ashamed of any of my teams to post.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
I don't think he's a lock in 10 or 12 team. Even in heavier QB premium it sounds like Tua will have a shot if he's back on the field pre-draft.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
He's 1.01, if you watched college football this year. He's the best QB, and that's it IMO. I was not accepting it, and was fully aboard the Tua train from last year, and being a biased lefty, but Burrow just looks better at handling pressure, and moves so well in the pocket, while keeping his eyes down field. The injuries to Tua are concerning. I still think he hits, but Burrow has to be the 1.01 at this point. Don't even bother with Swift etc. That's ridiculous to consider them in this format. Burrow just put up the best season in college history against 7 top ten teams, and decimated the top two top scoring defenses in the last 3 weeks, and the top passing D in the nation while playing in the biggest game of the year.
To consider a RB in this format is a joke, at 1.01. If you want one, fine, but none of them are prospects that are rare. Burrow just did what nobody else has against the toughest competition at the most important position in the format. Of course he's the 1.01. If you want a guy at the most fungible position, like RB, FF sakes trade back and accrue additional value.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
Great arguments FF. What I couldn't understand after the Clemson games was commentators saying burrow got off to a slow start, no he didn't, his receivers just couldn't catch the ball.

Re: Burrow 1.01?
Agree with Freak he's the unquestionable 1.01 in SF. He's the real deal and don't think the other QB's in this class are even close. Even if Swift falls to the perfect spot (KC?) I still wouldn't think twice about it in SF.
My PPR dynasties (QB/RB/WR/TE/FL):
Under construction...just noticed teams I had shown were very different than where they are now (lots of trading last 12 months). LOL

Re: Burrow 1.01?
I think 1.01 should definitely be one of the 2 QBs. I actually think I'd lean Tua and take the risk on injury. Everything seems to indicate hi hip is going to be fine. He's younger, and broke out younger. Burrow is actually 6 months older than Sam Darnold.
Also, 3 seasons of mediocrity without Joe Brady have me slightly concerned. Burrow edges out Jalen Hurts, for instance, in AY/A in 2019 12.5 to 12.2, but Jalen Hurts' soph and junior years crush Burrow's RS junior year. Not saying anyone should take Hurts over Burrow, just putting in perspective what an outlier last year was. Tua's 2018 season was actually better than Burrows' 2019 for AY/A
I'd definitely take Burrow in the top 2 picks, but I think Tua deserves to be in the discussion at 1.
