Jacoby Brissett value
Where are people valuing Brissett? I have him around dynasty QB 20.
Just heard an absolutely laughable take on the superflex supershow in which the hosts would rather have Chad Kelly. Obviously there is a wide range here.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
Kelly is intriguing, but if I had Brissett in a SF/2QB league I’d like to have Hoyer as Insurance.

He held his own after a last-minute pre-season trade to Indy.
He has a fantastic team around him.
Frank Reich knows how to build an offense.
I'm buying. Right now.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
That 2017 team was horrendous too, especially the offensive line. I think he's being judged harshly by some because of that. I'm looking to buy too if the owner is low on him.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
Sorry for the cliche answer, but it depends. It depends on the market rate of QBs (Alex Smith, when he moved to Washington, went for a 2nd in one league and a back-up fill-in due to injury often goes for a 3rd). Ideally, I'd give away anything from a 2nd to multiple seconds; I'd love to hang on to a first in the next couple of rounds. But, push comes to shove, I'd really consider a late first in 2020 (though I'd be loathe to do it).FKC wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:29 pmWhat are you trading for him in picks?moishetreats wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 8:16 pm He held his own after a last-minute pre-season trade to Indy.

Put it this way: If my rookie draft were right now, Murray should still go #1. I'd have a hard time passing on Brissett at #2.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
He's a hot start away from pretty good dynasty value. If he puts up a good game against the Chargers it's going to be hard to buy, and it looks like the first 6 games should provide 4 or 5 decent fantasy matchups.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
He should have had a 3rd TD that Ebron dropped. I think his value is beyond a single 2020 1st at this point.
Young starting QB in superflex on a good team and ranked around the back half of middle of the league?
He's probably worth 2 2020 1sts?
I think his value just goes up with a few good matchups coming up. Tough matchup against TEN next, then he gets ATL, OAK, KC.

I traded him away a week before Luck retired.
Re: Jacoby Brissett value
He looks to me like a top 16-20 range QB. I think he could have a future as a starter, his floor is a high-ceiling backup.

Brissett is crushing it. His value just keeps going up.
OAK next week to hopefully put up another nice week.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
would you sell for a mid-late 20 1st in SF?

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
I wouldn't. As you can see from an earlier post, I would have given up a late first even before the season started. His value has only gone up.
That being said, if you're actively looking to sell, then a mid-late 1st is probably the mid- to upper end of his market right now.

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
thanks for the response. it's a deeper league so it is very difficult to get a QB without giving up one. Maybe I should only be shopping him for player upgrades. Raiders, Chiefs, Bye week I don't think his sell window is closing anytime soon even if he is a fugazi

Re: Jacoby Brissett value
He's QB 10 in one format I play in and QB14 in another.
I also don't think the sell window closes soon. In fact, it probably really hasn't opened yet because he's worth two firsts at this point. He was worth 1 first before the season... Before he proved it on the field this time around.
