It's time to stash Taysom Hill (SF/2QB)
In deep leagues we are always looking for a guy who was overlooked for one reason or another (or many reasons as in Hill's case).
I think it's time to take a closer look at Taysom Hill and his situation. He has grown quite a bit and if you watch his plays this preseason, he is showing some stunning improvement. His quick decision making and accurate throws this year were a pleasant surprise and big improvement. Pair this with his rushing ability and there is some smoke here.

Hill has been developing with Payton + Brees for the past two seasons, and brings serious athleticism to the QB position. He has been mostly used as a gadget player to spell Brees and mostly utilized as a runner. The guy is 6'2, 220, and runs a 4.51 with above average vision for a QB. When Payton is taking the ball out of Brees' hand, you know he has a lot of trust in the man he is handing it to and it has become pretty evident Payton loves Hill.
This is a long-shot situation, but Brees is 40 years old, and despite his and Brady's apparent invincibility to aging past 33, this is a situation to monitor. I am starting to believe Hill may get a chance to start if Brees hangs it up, or if Brees were to go down injured.

In SF/2QB leagues, he probably should have been stashed a year ago.

Yea. I’m in a 10 team, 26 roster spot SF. Hill has my attention, but I can’t justify owning him over my back of roster at this point.

Re: It's time to stash Taysom Hill (SF/2QB)
i've had him stashed for 2 years and just dropped him last week to pick up Finley - this is a 2QB dynasty league.
Which one do you think has more potential/upside?

Re: It's time to stash Taysom Hill (SF/2QB)
I think Finley has more potential & upside. Finley only needs to beat out Dalton (who does get injured) whereas Hill needs to wait out Brees & Bridgewater (2 years younger), and even if the Saints decide against Bridgewater, they'll likely sign/draft a replacement. His main chance is injuries to both AND has a Foles like stretch (ie takes Saints to Playoffs).
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

He's owned in my SF (saints fan) and in my 2 QB league. Now's the time to get him, Teddy continues to look lost and overwhelmed.

Re: It's time to stash Taysom Hill (SF/2QB)
I think Finley is more likely to start sooner, but of their respective fantasy futures I prefer Taysom Hill, even though I think both have a low probability of long term success.
Finley just looks like the typical "better than the garbage we have" type player to me. Reminds me of Siemian or Osweiler.
Hill's rushing ability is what really gives me strong interest, even if it only lasts a short while, it could be valuable.

Bridgewater will get the first crack. Will show he is the same mediocre passer he has always been, and then it will be Taysom Time.
The rise of Taysom Hill is upon us.

Andddd he's been switched to a TE on ESPN. Ruins his SF/2QB value but helps in regular leagues. Interesting scenario

Re: It's time to stash Taysom Hill (SF/2QB)
Saints playing Teddy when Brees was injured showed they don't believe he can be their starter and will most likely continue being the bane of all Kamara and Thomas owners as he vultures tds as a gadget.
