Alex Smith"s value
Two qb league.who"s selling him and what's he going for?
Re: Alex Smith"s value
Not sure his value, but Gruden is pass happy and Smith is likely to have an increase in yards and TDs. I look for similar production to what Gruden got out of Cousins. You would think he could be had fairly cheaply considering his age and unexciting reputation.

I should have stated it but I am the smith owner. I was looking to trade him and just needed an opinion in terms of draft picks what he'd be worth.Jason72 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2018 6:34 pmNot sure his value, but Gruden is pass happy and Smith is likely to have an increase in yards and TDs. Re: Alex Smith"s value
Considering he has a new contract with the Redskins, and he's in his mid 30s, I'd think you can consider his value to be similar to a Philip Rivers or a Big Ben, but ahead of an Eli Manning or Joe Flacco - however I find that the value QBs can bring is so very league dependant and I have seen QBs in 1QB leagues go for the same price as QBs in Superflex leagues - due to the demand/scoring systems/roster composition.
So your best bet is to see what team you feel has the most need at QB, and start as high as you feel comfortable demanding. If thats 1.09 then it is 1.09. According to the Trade Finder tool - that might be a decent range to start as I see deals in 2QB/Super Flex leagues that have him going for K. Drake (see PVP poll) or a future 2019 1st.

It varies from league to league, but in the two dynasties that I play in, he would be worth about a mid to high second round pick.Raymond1974 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2018 9:02 pmI should have stated it but I am the smith owner. Re: Alex Smith"s value
productions in similar to last year IMO even with less weapons but should be throwing more in washington... but if you had him down because of mahomes, hes now more valuable of course, because he isnt at risk any more...

Re: Alex Smith"s value
Out of curiousity, if Alex Smith puts up a 2nd straight top 5 season (after moving to DC) how much would that move him up your boards?

Re: Alex Smith"s value
One QB leagues make it tougher as everyone should have their starter and at least one decent backup.
I acquired Smith by simply trading a younger QB last year in Winston. Smith was ballin' and Winston was fallin'. I had a chance to get most points pot so it was an easy choice with Jameis hurt and underperforming when he did play.
I wouldn't have given my 2nd rd to acquire him as I don't consider him that much of an improvement over the top 12-15 QB's. I'd give my 3rd for that little boost but not a top twenty or so draft pick. Winston had the team & ability to match Alex if he straightened out by the end of the season.
Unless a team is desperately seeking a QB I don't think you get anything more than a late 2nd with maybe another later pick or lotto ticket player type.

Re: Alex Smith"s value
In a 1QB 16 team 53 Roster IDP league I just sold him for 2.16. Thought that was pretty good value in 1QB league.
