Best WR after Cooper?

Postby ChocolateCityCurse » Fri Jan 02, 2015 7:15 pm

The consensus seems to be Parker but I have seen White slotted in a few mocks ahead of him and the argument could be made that either Strong or DGB have higher upside at the NFL level.

Who would you pick in the 1.4-1.5 range if you were set on going WR and why?

Thanks in advance!
The act of players getting yards and touchdowns to help your Fantasy team’s score accumulate is all luck.
The acts of acquiring players and choosing which ones to start is all skill.

I have KW ahead of Parker. I imagine Parker will have better times at the combine but unless KW performs terribly, he will remain my #2 WR. KW reminds me of a younger Fitzgerald and Parker seems a bit lean.
Team #1: 12 team, (1 QB 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, K, DEF), PPR (0.5/1/1), 22-player roster

QB: Newton, Foles, Carr
RB: Hill, TRich, Taliaferro, A Williams, D Williams
WR: AJ, Gordon, Benjamin, M Bryant, Jennings, C Hogan, Austin, Dobson, Janis, D Carter, C Washington
TE: Graham

Team #2: 12-team, (1 QB 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, K, DEF), PPR (0.5/1/1), 25-player roster

QB: Ryan, Bridgewater
RB: Forte, Ellington, Forsett, Hill, Bush, Taliaferro, Cunningham
WR: Megatron, Julio, Gordon, A Johnson, VJax, CPatt, Colston, D Baldwin, C Hogan, Charles Johnson
TE: Gronk, Witten
IR: C Palmer, K Moreno, T Gaffney

I've got Parker and White close but think if Parker had played the entire season none of us would feel that way. I prefer him by a little bit right now.

I'm starting to lean Kevin White over Parker. Parker is more talented but White has more polish

Very impressed with Parker, more so than White, but it's still close for me. Combine and landing spot would be a good tiebreaker.

I'm the opposite. Parker shows the ability to beat the press, White is sloppy off the line a lot of the time. Parker also has a sideline awareness that White doesn't. I think they both have plenty of raw talent (although I agree that Parker is more talented overall) but I think Parker is more polished.
