Tua vs Lawrence

How do these two college players compare? Who has the higher ceiling, and the firmer floor? How do they compare to recent prospects? Given how strong a number of people think next year's draft is for dynasty, where would you slot them? Are these two the only high quality prospects likely to come out next year?

Lawrence is class of 21 and I'd say he has the higher ceiling based on tools and frame. He was the best FR I can remember so I'd think he will be up there with Baker, Luck, Stafford, Cam, Bradford as the best prospects in the last 10-15 years. Some other big names for '20 - Fromm, Eason, Patterson, Herbert

Generation talent is a phrase that gets thrown around a lot, but Trevor Lawrence is an actual Generational talent. Tua looks like he could be a great qb, but talents like Lawrence are rare

I'd take Lawrence over Tua any day and not even close. Lawrence is possibly the best prospect to come out since Peyton Manning.

I saw that championship game last year and Tua looked amazing. Thanks for clarifying for me he is nowhere near as good as Lawrence. Thanks for the list, Krypto. How should these QB prospects be tiered?- Tua, Fromm, Eason, Patterson, Herbert.

I'm not Krypto, but I have them Tua, Herbert, Fromm, Eason, and Patterson.

Lawrence much higher ceiling- true freshman lit it up last year, including the almighty Bama. Best prospect since Luck imo.

Lawrence and it isn’t close for me- higher floor and ceiling, different classes though so you won’t have to make that decision - Lawrence still has two years and Tua is eligible next year

In a superflex, would you give up Devante Adams for devy rights to Lawrence?

Oof. That's a tough one. So much could go wrong for Lawrence before he's drafted as he had two more years. But it could basically be owning Peyton for his entire career in a SF.

It's easy to get caught up in the love but I think you still need something coming back to shop Adams.

things change so quick in devy. Lawrence having a down year, Tua looking very good but probably not quite elite prospect. Joe Burrow off the top rope out of nowhere

Nope. He's too inaccurate. I'm totally against this assessment of Lawrence, and have posted this elsewhere. Lawrence does not have the accuracy or anticipation to make him a truly great NFL QB. I'd take Burrow coming out of college over him. He had a great freshman year, for a freshman, but he just doesn't display the accuracy needed for the next level, consistently, yet. I don't see it.

Edit/ I missed this was posted pre 2019 season. Apologies.
