I was wondering what the community thinks of him. I think he's great and have been shocked he hasn't been getting more traction in devy circles. Hes a former top 50 recruit (#3 wr on 247's composite rankings), good height/length, though probably a little on the light side thus far, but very productive last year in his first year of action. Looking like he will be the number 1 for USC this year (though Pittman will obviously be a top target for them as well). I thought he was great on contested catches and did a great job getting yac. Also appears to have enough speed to be a real vertical threat.

What are other thoughts on him? Why do you think he isn't getting the attention of other top receivers, what am I missing?

Wow, I can't believe there weren't responses on this beforen ow. I like Tyler Vaughns a lot. Obviously he was a redshirt so he couldn't blow up at an early age, but when he was given the opportunity he performed in a big way. I like him to beat Pittman for lead target this year on an offense that will need him to step up. I doubt he goes into the draft for 2019, but he should be a top option in the 2020 NFL Draft when it's all said and done.

I think he's not getting as much attention because people want results now. They want players that are 6'3". They want WRs with crazy dominator ratings and solid breakout ages. Tyler isn't sexy enough for some. If that keeps him cheap in Devy and rookie drafts I'm okay with that. Great topic.

lol, I agree, in the end, I guess I am completely ok with the silence on this topic, haha. I now own him in all my devy leagues and was able to get him late in each of them.

He just does so many things well that historically translate well to the NFL (contested catches and getting yards after the catch, in particular). Needs to work on his route running a little more, but redshirt freshman do, so that is a little bit nit-picky. I can't say I know for sure what kind of an athlete he is, he obviously isnt Julio, but watching him on tape, he seems plenty athletic to be successful in the nfl.

Nice! Glad you were able to get him cheap. I snatched him up cheap in one league before he went off. Hopeful I can get another couple shares this year.

Did you see that Tyler Holmes was released by the Vikings on Thursday to make room for Allen Reisner on the practice squad?
