i don't know about that. seems like an awful lot for a DB.

Isn't he saying he was offered 1.11 for Weddle? Weddle's very solid, but he's still a DB. 1.11 and a replacement safety is much more valuable than Weddle. I take this easy.

I agree with the others. He's not worth 1.11 as a DB. If you are getting the 1.11, take it. Otherwise pass.

Weddle is not worth the 1.11. For comparison sake, I acquired Weddle for my signature team for a 5th-rounder last offseason. That was a steal for me. I see his value in your league as low 2nd round at best.

ANY defensive back that you can get a first round pick for, you take it!

I am in a league w similar scoring and my defensive players out performed most other teams offensive players. so compared to offensive players in your league how does weddle (or any db) stack up?

then you know.

i have been offered 1st rounders for LBs and 2nds for J and D McCourty - just as an fyi

Scoring doesn't really matter. It's more about supply and demand. That 1.11 pick should be an offensive player with pretty good upside. Weddle is just one of countless DB's. If defensive players dominate the top scorers, then that just means all the defensive players score better in the league than other leagues. However, it doesn't change the supply and demand issue. There are just a ton more defensive players that are FF relevant than offensive players.

Id give Weddle for 1.11

Hell, I'd give most my S and Dbs for 1.11 probably.
