He's in a great fit. Do you think he could be there at pick 2.01 in a 16 team dynasty and with heavy tackle scoring system ?

Doubtful. He'll likely be in the 10th to 12th pick in many drafts. He might even creep up higher if your draft isn't for a while like R.McClain did. Kuechly is a better prospect then McClain and McClain was going as early as 7th or 8th pick in some leagues.

i had the 1.14 but it wasn't enough. When i look a the rosters, i suspect him to leave the board at 1.07, 1.08 or 1.11 but everything depends on owners preferences. Before the draft i was interested in trading up for the 1.08. I think i should do it cause i really want Kuechly.

Should still be ok.

Beason will still play the weakside and be productive. Maybe not as productive as he was in the past, but should still be solid. Both Kuechly and Beason should also be the every down linebackers, which should also preserve his value.

It's no slam dunk that he's going to take over the middle.

The Panthers haven't decided which linebacker position will be Luke Kuechly's in 2012.
Kuechly was drafted because he was the highest-rated player on Carolina's board at No. 9. With WLB Thomas Davis (ACL surgery) and MLB Jon Beason (Achilles) coming back from major injuries, Kuechly's position may be determined by need. Long term, SLB James Anderson shouldn't rest easily. His contract numbers are high for a two-down linebacker.

Some what.

Beason had a down year when he filled in at WLB for T.Davis. So, I would expect his numbers to go down from normal healthty MLB Beason of old.

I traded up for 1.08 and picked Kuechly. I wanted Hill too, but i smelt the risk. And LB were one of my biggest need.

I gave 2.01, 4th 2013 and Avril.

Is it a big reach or a safe pick ?

I just took Kuechly at 1.08 in a 12 team ppr league, where LB was one of my bigger needs.

With the bad landing spots most guys landed in, Kuechly at 9 seems as safe as you can get. Someone you can build your defense around

Well kuechly ended up falling to me at 2.06..... From what i saw theres just a ton of offensive talent that will probably push him down in tackle normal leagues. There was actually still 3 offensive guys i really liked still on the board and worth considering. In the end theres just some cashe to drafting the best defensive player over a guy like LaMichael James

Just got him at 2.06 for my team below, too. Traded my 3.02 and 3.06 picks for 2.06 and 6.06 and couldnĀ“t be happyier about it.

I'm tempted to tak him at 1.8 in a tackle heavy league even with Willis, Lauranitis, Urlacher and DWashington as my starters. Heres to hoping he makes it too 2.3 in a 12 teamer. He went 1.6 in one of my leagues, 1.5 tackle nonPPR, we where all surprised by it.

Again with the uncertainy of the "mass" after the top 4, taking him there seems like the safe pick
