IDP Diamonds in the Rough

My league (32 team, 40 man roster limits) is in its free agency period.
I'm looking for some veteran defensive players that are sitting on the 2nd or 3rd string (Julian Stanford and Kristian Welchs of the world) and have a chance to move up and get some solid snaps this year.
I'm looking specifically for veterans only because the league's rookie draft is still about 3 weeks away, but feel free to throw out some rookie names as well if you have some insight.

We use Proboards and Fantrax.
Proboards does not have a position search engine.

Tackles Solo: 2 points
Tackles Assist: 1 Point
Sacks: 5 points
Interceptions: 5 points
Passes Defensed: 1 point
Forced Fumbles: 5 points
Fumbles: -4 points
Fumble Recoveries: 4 points
Defensive Touchdowns: 12 points
Safeties: 10 points
Blocked Kicks: 7 Points
Kick/Punt Return or Blocked Kick Touchdowns: 12 points
Kick/Punt/Fumble/Interception Return Yards: .04 points
Yards Rushing/Receiving: .1 point (1 point/10 yards)
Receiving Touchdowns: 8 points
Rushing Touchdowns: 7 points
PATs returned for Score: 6 points
