Depth LB Options

Postby SkillsPino » Sun Aug 22, 2021 2:39 pm

I have one move to make before I finalize my roster. There are still a number of decent LBs available (12 team league). Our league is pretty tackle heavy. Anyone on this list that you like?

Dont'a Hightower - NE
Damien Wilson - JAC
TJ Edwards - PHI
Josey Jewell - DEN
Rashaan Evans - TEN
Chandler Jones - ARI
Khalil Mack - CHI
Shaq Barrett - TBB
Bradley Chubb - DEN
Robert Spillane - PIT
Matt Judon - NE

Or if you have another LB you think may be a FA that I should look at?

Thanks!

I like Damien Wilson with Schobert now in Pittsburgh (and dislike Spillane for the same reason). Josey Jewell might be decent to start the year, but I’d constantly be worried that the week has come where Baron Browning gets the nod.

wilson, evans and jewell should all be 3-downs players, or thereabouts, i'd have them in that order. not a fan of edge-rushing LBs, especially in a tackle-heavy league.

Agree with Killer of Giants re edge rushing LBs in a tackle heavy league. I hate leagues that make edge rushers LBs.

I like Evans personally, think he has high IQ and skill, even though many are writing him off, it's a contract year.

I read Anzalone locked down a starting spot.

just in case someone missed it, jermaine carter named as the panthers' starting middle linebacker, while perryman went to vegas and bynes is depth. very good chance carter is on waivers.
