Re: Edmunds vs Kendricks
If you only start 2 then the wire must still be pretty loaded. I would keep Kendricks as a safe plug and play option and then maybe shop Edmunds around, see what he can net you.

Re: Edmunds vs Kendricks
If you’re serious about Kendricks being your LB3, I’m guessing it is at most a 12 team league and a good chance it’s even less.
Edmunds is pretty much a replacement level LB in your league. You can find plenty of guys at or near his performance level. Kendricks has much greater value (which isn’t saying a whole lot since LBs in your league are probably about as valuable as Ks).

Re: Edmunds vs Kendricks
i don't look at age too much when it comes to IDP, unless we're talking about top of the line studs: their usage and value fluctuates a lot and there's always someone coming out of nothing and balling out (especially at LB). in a league that only starts 2 LBs, age is even less relevant, so if kendricks scores more with your settings, take him.
Re: Edmunds vs Kendricks
Thanks for all your thoughts. I did go with Kendricks.
Regarding LB value... We are a 10 team league starting 2 LB’s, but LB’s score 4 x that of PK’s with a delta between an avg backup LB vs an avg starting LB of 77%, compared to PK’s 85%. (DB 88%, DL 80%, TE 80%, RB 77%, WR 76%, QB 73%). Since LB’s score nearly as much as WR’s & RB’s and are nearly identical in scarcity, I would say they are much closer in value to RB & WR than PK. You might think this would be impossible, but it’s all based on scoring and starting requirements... we start 1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex, 1PK, 2DL, 2LB & 2DB with rushing 3-4 OLB’s listed as DL’s. (You might ask how QB’s are most scarce in a 1 QB league... it’s because we penalize for poor play... sacks, INT’s and even incompletions take a hit. Sorry, got off point, just wish more played in this non-RB obsessed format. Feels like managing a real NFL football team).
