Team 1- 10 team with slight DT premium. Leageumate has been trying to send Ioannidis or Godchaux for a 2020 2nd. Don't have much depth behind Buckner if Simmons doesn't take a step up. Is a 2020 3rd too much? Ideally,I'm only starting him on a bye week

I wouldn't spend a 3rd rounder in a 10 team league in this deep draft on a maybe BYE week fill in DT, but if I was going to I would just use the pick to draft whichever of Derek Brown or Javon Kinlaw I liked better.
But I wouldn't because there are still plenty of better offensive players to choose.

We had our draft already, he drafted Kinlaw so I offered a 2021 2nd for him. He's countered Ioannidis or Godchaux for the second. Won't take a third for either. With our league settings, a lot of first round talent makes it to the second, and second round talent makes it to the third, so I'll wait for next year
