I try avoid trading offense for defense in general. I usually try to include swapping draft picks of equivalent value to the players. Something like CD and 3rd for Smith and early 2nd

I disagree. In my league, Jaylon finished 8th in LB scoring with 435 points and Davis was the 68th WR with 163 points. It would be a steal to get Smith in my league, so it depends on his league's scoring.

Been trying to move Davis, after seeing this thread, offered him for Jaylon and was told “not close”

Unless it is a league where around twice as many LBs are started than wrs I would still go davis. WR is just more valuable in nearly every league

My formula for building a championship team includes having a stable of stud LBs. Jaylon Smith qualifies. And even though Davis is a fine wr prospect, I think it is easier to land a comparable player at wr than a stud.

I would take J Smith since C Davis is someone you don't want to start any week, while J Smith is a locked in starter week in week out. I understand that it is easier to find LB than a WR, but C Davis has finished a high of WR38 (from a quick internet search) in 2018 and he could very easy be a bust. 3 years in and he hasn't shown much.

Smith easy in my book. Smith is a LB1 and CD is a WR4, I can find a WR4 anywhere, getting an LB1 is a tough job.

Jaylon Smith side easily to me. I have an IDP league with the same scoring and this would be an instant accept for everyone that would be getting Smith. If I was offered Corey Davis for Jaylon Smith, I wouldn't even consider it. Not close at all to me.

Have to admit, have been trying to move Davis all off season and the best offer I've got is RoJo, think I'd be happy to have Smith as atleast I'd start him weekly
