I know this might just be something I'm noticing because they are players on my team, but...
Last night Cory Littleton tackled Russell Wilson well behind the line of scrimmage and did not get credited for a sack. A similar thing happened with Robert Quinn on Thursday night when the Bears ran a wildcat play.
Anyone notice those plays with either of those guys, and anyone have any reasons why those wouldn't be credited as sacks?

Re: Week 14 scoring
I don't know the specific plays you mentioned, but if it is a designed run play for the QB and he gets tackled behind the line, then it is just a normal tackle and not a sack.
Re: Week 14 scoring
Never really noticed this. I wonder if some teams are more likely to list it as a sack than others; similar to how some teams give more assist of tackles than other teams.Oddball456 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 8:12 am I don't know the specific plays you mentioned, but if it is a designed run play for the QB and he gets tackled behind the line, then it is just a normal tackle and not a sack.

Re: Week 14 scoring
This is true ... but if it’s the play I’m thinking of, I don’t think it was clear that it was a run. Wilson was scrambling & I think it was 50-50 if he was going to run or throw.Oddball456 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 8:12 am I don't know the specific plays you mentioned, but if it is a designed run play for the QB and he gets tackled behind the line, then it is just a normal tackle and not a sack.
