Garrett Value? Pick a Side

Pick a side: 10 team Non PPR 2 DL, 3LB, 2DB, 1 Flex. Myles Garrett currently scorring on par with players like Jamaal Williams/Myles Sanders/John Brown/Emanuel Samders. The top DE (Bosa and Huter) are near the high end RB/WR2

I have a 2018 championship team that is currently 1 and 8 so I am looking to retool some older pieces and have aquired some nice picks while still maintaining my core. I have Hunter and Garrett as my 2 DL. I was offered a 2020 and 2021 2nd for him. I feel like that is good vaue in this format but having a tough time being objective having to stud book end DE's for the next decade lol. Then again I could use the 2nd on Chase Young and net a 2nd. Anyway, should I be jumping on this?

Well, you know I tend to value defensive linemen pretty heavily. That said if a DE maxes out at wr2 scoring I would move him for 2 2nds pretty easy, especially if that 2nd would gain me a likely shot at the top DE in the next rookie class

Based on what you said in your post, even elite DLs aren't that valuable. Take the pair of 2nds.

Thanks guys. Think I*'m gonna go for it. It's an older IDP of mine and a bit watered down. Not to mention it is start 2 DL and it is also DT balanced so DT's get a bit of a boost further watering down DE. He is the DE 5 but I think this is the right move.

Agreed. It seems wrong to sell Garrett for that but given your scoring it makes sense. Maybe you can slightly more for him.
