Anyone else read the article about his concussion? Sounds like a guy who could end up retiring early.

Selling and what would you sell for?

I’d wait til he has a couple of good games, let his value build back up. Then sell

Didn’t sound like he was really considering retiring to me. Just scared. Unfortunately, he had a concussion early in the game and didn’t know it. He surely caused more damage continuing to play and that took a while to recover from.

Always and forever... Never keep a stud LB for more than a year.

Get any 1st for him, or multiple 2nds.

Sounded like he was scared about concussions..and considered retirement. Talks about his family in the piece too. Some things are more important than money. Put it this way, I don’t see him letting it go what Jordan Reed has been through, he’ll walk before then.

In theory, I like this take. However, how do you balance that eye toward future picks vs league winning production? Trading a LB that is producing well would be more of an offseason consideration for me if I'm contending.

I know everyone's IDP scoring is different, but in each of my leagues a LB can score around the same as a mid-RB1. I'd rather hang on to that player during the season and keep the production, and trade them in the offseason.

It’s so rare that a LB stays a league-winner year after year. Guys will leave for a year or maybe 2 due to scheme fit, D-line, etc but eventually most LBs settle in as some sort of LB2.

If you have a guy performing as an LB1, I can understand holding at least for the remainder of the season, but then sell once the year is done.
