49ers D-line

Postby PNWHawkfan » Wed Oct 02, 2019 11:43 am

little help here, Heavy sack league.

Is bosa gonna start getting more snaps in week 5? I'm getting the itch to start him over Deforest Buckner against Cleveland and that weak O-line. Or should I just play it safe and keep buckner locked in till I actually see Bosa's snaps increase. I mean...Bosa has 17 QB pressures with very limited snaps. That's literally tied for the most with Myles Garret.

Short answer - no. He's a rookie and he's already a couple injuries. With their depth on the d-line there's no reason to put him out there and get him banged up.

Regardless you should be starting him. He'll end the year with 10 sacks if he plays in 12+ games.

Over Buckner? This is not a Premier DT league anymore sorry. It is a 2 DL starting requirement now. I can start up to 3 DL but I'd rather go with my 4 stout Linebackers.

Over Buckner no. I didn't see that part at first. Still, if he heats up you always go for 275 pound freak edge over the DT, no matter how good Buckner is.

Buckner is one of the few elite DLs in IDP - don’t bench him.

I love Nick Bosa, but let him simmer for a bit before starting him - unless of course you’re starting guys like Brandon Graham or Jabaal Sheard.
TEAM A - 12 teams (2018 champ, 2017 R/U)
BREES, Jimmy G, Rivers, Dalton
COOK/JACOBS/GURLEY, Shady, Gio, Gallman, Walton, Ollison, D Washington, Scarlett, Foreman, Ware, Rodney A
NUK/HILL/EVANS/GOLLADAY/K ALLEN, Edelman, Alshon, Sammy, P Campbell, JJAW, Wims, Dez
KITTLE, OJ Howard, Herndon, Eifert
-
Not listing my IDP, but they matter as much as offense in this league
///
///
TEAM B - 32 teams, double copy - TEs get slight bump in scoring (1st year league, tanking this year to build through 2020 draft)
DARNOLD, Carr, Rosen, Eli, Tyrod
KAMARA/MIXON/GORDON
NUK/OBJ/EVANS/HOLLYWOOD/SHEPARD, Couttee, Latimer
ANDREWS/NJOKU, Ian Thomas, James O, Sprinkle
-
Danielle Hunter, Ngakoue, and then a bunch of maybes for IDP

I think Bosa has finished his simmer period! With Chris Jones hunt, I will have Bosa in my line-up week 6.

I had a good feeling this would be his coming out party and I wanted to start him so bad but simmering was the responsible decision. I have him starting week 6 as well.

Bosa is by far, by far the best dlineman SF has had in the last 25 years. Shoutout to BY and Aldon Smith.
