Waiver Wire Safties

Postby GridironGuerilla » Fri Sep 20, 2019 2:14 pm

I have an under performing Safety rostered at the moment in Jabril Peppers. I wanted to see what you all might think would be the best addition/s. Which guys would you add and would you prefer any of them to Jabril?

Montae Nicholson
Anthony Harris
Von Bell
Bobby McCain
Devin McCourty
Clayton Geathers
Eric Reid

I'd stick with Peppers. He is S31 in my league, however variance early isn't a big surprise, as splash plays can really skew the results. His point totals have been average from my perspective and I envisioning him remaining consistent in tackle volume and slowly moving up the ranks.

Vonn Bell is probably the only other guy I personally would be considering.

I'm in a similar situatiin with Peppers in one league and Keanu in another. Nicholson is a guy I like of those yiu listed, and I would pick him up if I had roster space. However, I wouldn't be too quick to dump Peppers (or Keanu) after a slow start. Sample size is still small, and talent should eventually rise to the top.

Don't cut your guy, but if you can cut elsewhere, look to pick up Harris or Reid

I picked up Walker from DET but haven't seen many S exploding this year. Not yet at least.

Geathers just had a good game and the threat to his snaps, Khari Willis, will be playing FS now with Malik Hooker our 4-6 weeks. Could be a good add.

Ronnie Harrison is on my waiver wire, and I plan on snatching him up... but i doubt he's on most WW.

I'll second Kari Willis as a guy with a future, but I'd personally stick with Peppers.
