JJ WATT??!!??

Just came on here to say Don't Panic. This happens with defensive linemen all the time, if you haven't played much IDP.
Watt will be fine and will reap you the benefits of your investment.
It just didn't happen in Week One.

I wish I had your confidence. I feel like the loss of Clowney now allows teams to double Watt on most snaps now. Fingers crossed but I fear Watt may be quite a disappointment going forward. Saints completely removed him from the game last night and that seems like a blueprint for other teams to follow. I'm hoping for the best but fearing that it's going to be a long year for Watt owners like myself.

This is what I was gonna type. Plus, he's human, all these injuries and double teams are gonna wear you down.

I'm right in between. Don't expect the old gold standard Watt, but still expect top 10 DL performance.

FWIW, I was also worried about Kuechly in the new 3-4 defense until last night.
Always best not to get too worked up over 1 game...

Yeah, a bit disappointing for sure, but need a larger sample size to draw conclusions.

Two big fat ZEROS for me. Luckily I won both games. Do I sit him until he does something? I thought the Saints did a great job containing him so I wasn't worried. I figured against a rookie QB and the Jags week two he would have an impact.
