Top DB Options Available

I lost Derwin James, which should my lineup. I decided to wait until waivers to find a "replacement" for him. I'm listing the top 10 performances in W1 here. Which of these guys do you think is the best option for the season?

1. Tracy Walker
2. Xavier Woods
3. Tre Boston
4. Jeff Heath
5. Kenny Vaccaro
6. Jordan Whitehead
7. Jayron Kearse
8. Morgan Burnett
9. Quandre Diggs
10. Raven Greene

My first instinct was to grab Woods as he had a little offseason hype about him being a full time starter, but then I read his stats from W1 were inflated due to Eli throwing so much to Engram. Woods is my first choice right now, wondering if there is someone else you'd go with instead.

Me too. I drafted Xavier Woods his rookie season so Im excited by his performance. I'm going to bid on him in my other leagues where I need help. Don't know anything about Tracy Walker but the bids are coming in on him in my auction leagues.

I'd personally target Woods, Boston, and Vaccaro with Woods being the obvious first choice. Vaccaro and Boston have had some good seasons in the past, so they'll be good consolation prizes if you miss out on Woods. I'm intrigued by Walker, but I just don't know enough about him to really make a comment. I was reading up on his draft profile after seeing his stat line. Apparently he's a rangy, big-hitter type with decent cover skills. He takes bad angles and can get washed out in the run at times though, but perhaps he's improved after his rookie season.

What about Jabrill Peppers? Now that he's on a team that knows how to use him. (Closer to the line of scrimmage...)

I currently own TJ McDonald and Josh Jones. I keep looking at Raven Greene on waivers and liked how he was used in week 1. Would I be giving up too much long term upside dropping Jones or McDonald for Greene. I have seen reports that the Dolphins will bring McDonald back as soon as they trade Fitzpatrick and Jones has visited 2-3 teams in the past week.

Josh Jones is an easy cut.
