Idp start up help

My first foray into IDP dynasty is coming up this thursday.

12 team 24 round draft. Start: QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3 R/W/T, 1LB, 1 DE, 1 CB.

Scoring for defense is pretty low. Tackle =1, sack = 2, Int = 2, FF = .5, FR = .5, TD 6.

My plan is to take a LB in the 10 - 14 round range, DE 12 - 16 and CB round 24 but id love to hear some advise from people who actually know something about this bleep.

Those look like pretty low idp starting and scoring requirements, so definitely get offensive top tier players first. Top tier DE and LB having more staying power so I usually don’t worry too much about db’s, particularly only needing to start one. Maybe get a top tier DE and LB, but stay focused on offense

I wouldn't even draft a LB until round 20. If at all.

I would not draft a single DB unless someone falls like crazy.

Grab a falling DE around the 13th-14th round.

can pretty much stream all IDPs with those settings, aside from maybe DE.
if there's a stud DE or LB and you're not liking any of the offensive players available (or think you can get them in the following rounds) then go for it but otherwise pick a startable DE late and just work the wire.
