Throw a dart. Keep active on the ww once the season starts. You'll probably find someone better on there once the games start.

Ditto on working the ww, both safeties and cb's. Usually end the season with several guys scoring at the top of their position by working the ww.

Yeah I was mostly planning on seeing the first few weeks. Someone grabbed Geathers in this mornings waivers. Hopefully getting Abram, Adderley, or Blair in the draft.

Don't want to start my own thread, thoughts on these 2 for 2019 in a tackle heavy scoring? I am trying to add Peppers as well, but as others noted above I feel like every year around weeks 3-6 I just grab a couple new safeties scoring decently and ride them out over the season.

Adrian Phillips (Chargers)
John Johnson (Rams)

Easily John Johnson over any of the above mentioned bums - I wish he was available on my waivers

Thanks for the responses, I have J Johnson and A Phillips currently as my only 2 DBs (need to start 2) and just wanted to know their outlook this year since every year I seem to need to chase down new DBs. Does Phillips seem to a solid choice also?

Phillips always pops up for a few weeks a year because he's a backup LB for the Chargers, but he's not a long term keeper.

I cut him every off-season

Phillips' value just went WAY up! I own Johnson in a tackle heavy league, and he was the #4 scoring DB last year. In that same league, Peppers and Geathers were #25 and #26. The other guys on your list are just random guys who have a decent week here and there in a tackle heavy format.

Which four safeties should I keep? Landon Collins, Kevin Byard, Clayton Geathers, Eddie Jackson, Bradley McDougald, or Jordan Poyer. Heavy tackles, 12 teams, but only start two each week since flex is almost always an LB.
