"Peanut" Onwuasor

Postby Warwick9 » Wed May 22, 2019 4:08 pm

CJ Mosley 875 snaps 70 tackles 6TFL 35A 0FF 1INT 0.5 sacks 5 PD

Patrick Onwuasor 434 snaps 37T 8TFL 22A 2FF 1INT 5.5sacks 3 PD

Anyone else think Peanut could be a cheap yet massive addition to a fantasy team? Especially in Big Play IDP formats?

so on half the defensive snaps Peanut had approx. half the solo tackles CJ did, but the difference I see is the game changing plays that Peanut seems to have a knack for. 2 more tackles for loss on half the snaps. 2 huge forced Fumbles vs the Falcons and Chargers and 5.5 sacks with a couple 2 sack performances against the Titans and again, his man on fire display vs the Chargers.

Check out this fun highlight reel for Peanut. I know these vids don't show the whole picture, but I also know that this shows the type of vision he has for the ball.

I love the play he makes at 1:47 where he forces a fumble, gets up and makes a violent block. A lot of guys make that fumble and then play is over. Not for Peanut, 1 more impact play after another.

I just want to point out that this was a good post, but I’ve never heard him referred to as Peanut and the term Peanut was used so much I found it awkward, haha.

Ravens being my hometown team... they have faith in Peanut and Young. Young is my personal choice to take the long term MLB spot, but there's a legit chance it could be Peanut.

Both of these guys are going to see increased snaps this year and should see their tackles increase.

If he's healthy for 16 games he'll be a top 20 LB. Maybe even top 10.
