JAbram or Barnett???

Pick coming up and both JAbram and DBarnett are still on the board (plus a bunch of RBs I like: Love, Justice, Snell).

Who would you take?

Took Abram, probably crazy move. There is only one pick before I pick two more times in round 3. The gambler in me wants to see if I can wait on Barnett. (Even though I KNOW at least 2 guys in league are on here)

Maybe you would've ended up with both either way, OP, but I also would have gone for your strategy of selecting the actual rookie first since he's likely more on other members' minds right now (even though Barnett is the more valuable piece).

Maybe you would've ended up with both either way, OP, but I also would have gone for your strategy of selecting the actual rookie first since he's likely more on other members' minds right now (even though Barnett is the more valuable piece).

Several owners complained/congratulated the pick (next 3 who were picking plus) so he would have been gone. The pick started a whole sequence of bemoaning and smack talking for rounds 4 and 5 resultant largely of perceived or actual sniping of players; even a few "I saw you picked this guy in that league with ???pick so I grabbed him early." comments were made either PM or to all on chat.

I too compile a list of picks from all my other leagues so I know when to snipe a player early; the research and effort into not only the NFL players but also other team owners makes the league much more interesting and challenging.

And it's always rewarding when you let that player (Barnett) slide to a later round based on the above research and it actually pays off.
