Luckky, do you think a presumed late 2020 4th is too much to pay to draft Amani Hooker in the early 6th round. That’s what he guy is asking for. I know the pick values are off, but do you think Hooker is worth a late 4th?

No I don’t.

He doesn’t have a clear path to playing time, and even if he did, it would take a sure thing as a safety prospect for me to give up a 4th.

Cool thx. U talked me down off the bridge. Thx
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.

Blair is gone. Harris is still there. He had not been drafted in any of my leagues.

Will Harris and Khari Willis are not GUARANTEED starting spots from day 1, but both should be strong safety types for their teams.

Thornhill seems to be a natural deep safety, so I’m personally not chasing his name. He will get early playing time tho, and maybe could create turnovers (a la Jessie Bates last year)

3 rounds for an IDP league is extremely short IMO. Waivers must be flush with assets

Darnell Savage is getting glowing reviews from Packers coaches and other players and what I've read seems to think a starting safety spot is his to lose.. Ourlads has him listed at the starting SS and Amos as the FS. Is this just a case of two guys who can both do a little bit of everything and that they will be moved all over and their position title isn't really important?

And there is amy truth to this does it raise or lower either of their IDP value?

Thoughts on Juan Thornhill? I think even if playing FS he could post solid tackle numbers

The Taylor Rapp pick confused me. The Rams didn’t seem to have a glaring need at safety, but he was picked so darn early they must have a plan for him.
the way the rams draft now, seeing how they have a loaded roster, is to draft players a year before they need them. weddle is almost an old man but while he's there he will make johnson and rapp the best safeties they can be while also making the defense so much better than when joyner was back there. he will put players in position to make a play.

rapp will be on the field a fair bit in his rookie season. he will play the same role as marqui christian did last season, a hybrid safety/lber when needed. although he should be so much better at it since he is a sure tackler and has a nose for the ball.

he is a stash if you have room.

it's funny how different people see different things in players. i've read somewhere that he is a natural box safety.

i've never seen him play so i am clueless but the nfl is turning into a league where they want their safeties to do both.

Drafted Abrams in one league at pick 4.03 then another one we just finished I tried for 5-6 picks to trade back into the draft and got Abrams at 5.03
