Saw Giants are looking to trade Vernon. Is he worth a pickup in the event he goes somewhere that he returns to DE? or have we seen his best days?

Pickup? As in, he's on waivers? Sure, you should grab him if you roster more than 500 players in your league.

I’m looking to deal Nassib for him while he’s still at LB designation . If Vernon goes to a 4-3 DE, he once again becomes a rock solid DE2 option. It seems less likely he gets put back into the OLB role, so I’m willing to take the risk.

Thanks, yes he was on waiver wires, our rosters expanded in the offseason so he’s worth a hold until I see where he lands

Yes. If free he is certainly worth it. Even if being sold while valued as a lb he may be worth it depending on that value

I keep reading on Twitter Giants fans claiming Vernon was a bust. Not true at all. Yes he dealt with injuries the past 2 years, but not of such severity that will negatively affect his play moving forward. Just the all too typical injuries that any NFL player can get. Vernon played in 11 games last year and had 7 sacks, which is on pace for a double digit sack season. I would hope he'd be rostered in all IDP leagues, even as a LB.
