Elvis Dumervil out at least 4 months

Elvis Dumervil has suffered a torn pectoral muscle and is out indefinitely.

It's a devastating blow for the Broncos as Dumervil will miss at least four months and there's a good chance that last year's sacks leader is out for the season. As the focal point of Denver's 3-4 defense, Dumervil was rewarded with a five-year extension just two weeks ago that will pay him $43.156 million guaranteed over the next six years. Jarvis Moss is an in-house candidate to step up at outside linebacker, but he has been wildly disappointing since being a first-round pick in 2007. I personally don't play IDP, but this is devastating to me as a Broncos fan. I'm sure IDP league owners were expecting big things from Doom this year.

Yep - big owies to one of my teams. Even worse for the Broncos. I couldn't be happier. Maybe Tebow can find his calling at Linebacker? He plays Quarterback about as well as Ray Lewis.
