IDP moves for next year

Postby PNWHawkfan » Wed Nov 02, 2016 10:52 am

All right guys I thought I had made some big Draft moves IDP wise last year only to blow up in my face. I'm a patient player so I'm good with holding some of these players if there is any chance they will become something next season. Can you guys give me some insight on some of these young players.

I took Myles Jack, Jaylon Smith (This was a major gamble but I really feel like this could be a great tandem to throw in with the likes of Kueckly, Telvin, and Mosely in a start 4 LB league.

I took Robert Nkemdich DT from ARI. I was just throwing a dart here, not sure if he is someone worth holding and he is struggling immensely in his first season. is this a guy anyone sees being a dominate DT in the IDP world next season?

Sua' Cravens- I drafted this player for the Bucannon angle even if it was only for one season. DB's are not that important but its nice to stream them every other year. I am hearing Wash is talking about moving him back to Safety and if that's the case our league allows designations to be changed on the fly provided NFL.com lists them as such.

Is Calvin Pryor still considered a top DB? I have never seen good numbers from this kid and I don't watch a lot of Jets games.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks guys.

You're right on with the LB thinking. Robert Nkemdiche is a decent stash if you can afford to wait.

Cravens is droppable. The Barron/Bucannon thing was a cheat code last year because they were playing LB full time but classified at DB, a position that typically scores less than LBs. So even if Cravens plays LB, there's no cheat code. He's classified as LB (not to mention he's playing part time and not particularly talented)
And if he gets moved to Safety for the skins, now he gets even less tackle opportunities. So nothing attractive there IMO

Pryor is playing more than 50% of snaps but he has been wholly ineffective as far as production. He should be a stash unless you have thin rosters

Fwiw, I like Cravens. I like his talent. But even after injuries to Bruton and Deangelo Hall he still has yet to play a single snap at SS. All signs point to him playing every down WILB next to Compton next year
