Cameron Jordan offer made...is it bad?

offered a 2017 1st for Cameron Jordan

Is that an insulting offer? After it was made got a bunch of intential lowballs back where the guy clearly took offense to that. Side note the owner of Jordan is no where near being a contender and he's got 2 years left on his deal.

I'd potentially trade Jordan for a 2nd and I love Jordan. Be happy he rejected. You were significantly overpaying

In a league that big I think he's worth a late 1st/early 2nd based on the scoring.

I've owned him since he was a rookie and he always seems to get tackles and tipped balls on a regular basis. I like being able to kind of peg him in for at least 2 or 3 tackles every week and then hope for a sack or FF.

Mack was just sold for a 1st in this league couple weeks ago so I figured this would be more then fair

I also play in a 16 team league where we start two DE and own Jordan. I agree with the above statements. He's worth a late 1st/ early 2nd. So no, not a bad offer at all. And given how the 2017 draft class is shaping up, I don't know that I would offer that pick, unless you are confident it will be late.

have a feeling I won't be aquiring a DE in this league...just tried getting Griffen (miny) for a 2nd or Shaq Thompson and a 4th and just got a counter where he wants Jordan Reed straight up.

this is just getting ridiculous. I think I've offered a 1st for every DE in the top 12ish rankings and been turned down. Even tried getting Curry for a 2nd and me getting a 4th back in the deal and got countered Curry plus a 3 I think for Ogletree. I swear this league is attached to DE's.

Just spitballing, maybe target Charles Johnson, Devin Taylor, Mario Williams, Henry Anderson, and Ty Crawford. Should be fairly cheap considering what they could give you

Finally got clarification on how he values Jordan. Greater then 1first but less than 3...not really sure what that means. I guess by that value watt should go for 6 1s.

It was a generous offer. I got Cam Jordan for a 2016 2nd and 3rd last year when JPP went Pyrotecnic and he paid dividends at that price.
