Fair warning: I am NOT basing this on tape watching, simply statistical analysis.
That being said, TJ Mac wasn't terrible last year, but he only played 11 games. 700 something snaps. Multiply his production by 1.5 (full time snaps, full season), and he ends up with 95 total tackles.
His PPG was low, because a lot of his tackles weren't solos, and he also lacked big plays. 1 sack and 0 INTs. Those are hard to predict.
So as a DB2/3 I think he will be just fine.

I think my main problem with him is that he is a pure box safety, a liability in coverage. the kinda guy that gets replaced the first time a team gets a chance.

I'm still holding. I added him as a FA 2 years ago. I think he will have a better year than he did last year, but I'm doubting that he ever lives up to his once lofty expectations.

Safety production is unpredictable in the worst way. My advice is to roster a handful of cheap starters and sell them off after their good seasons for a ransom.
Just a guy who loves fantasy football - specifically defense.
