IDP Scoring

Postby mzkp54 » Thu Mar 26, 2020 3:47 pm

This is the scoring for a startup that I am in:

IDP TD: +6
Sack: +2
Tackle: +0.50
Tackle For Loss: +1
Blocked Punt, PAT or FG: +2
Interception: +3
Int Return Yards: +0.1 per yard (10 yards = 1 point)
Fumble Recovery: +1
Forced Fumble: +2
Safety: +2
Assisted Tackle: +0.50
Solo Tackle: +0.50
Pass Defended: +0.5

Am I interpreting this correctly that it is more big play focused than tackle heavy? The big LB are going off the board early, but the way I see it DL/S/OLB might benefit more from this. Can someone confirm for me if I'm looking at this right?

Also, we only start 2 IDP so I'm likely going to be the last one drafting them- just wanted to make sure I'm interpreting it correctly. Thanks!

I'd say it is fairly balanced but somewhat anemic IDP scoring. I believe MLB and run-stopping SS are your best targets. There will be some edge guys that will do well in this format, but their scoring is likely to be erratic. With only starting 2 IDPs that is where I would focus for stable production.
